The assignments done in class this week helped me strengthen my moves and choices for WP3.  For instance, I was a huge fan of the activity of revisiting the McCloud reading.  This is because for my WP3 choice for the younger audience, I actually wrote a comic book.  Going more in depth of the moment, frame, image, word, and flow helped me know where to piece each part of the story, and what to include and what to leave out in the comic book.  Also, I learned that I cannot make it too wordy, I have to focus on putting the right pictures in the right places, and it has to flow and transition well between each frame.
Also, I feel like the peer reviews for our WP3 helped me out a lot.  There were several parts where I was not exactly sure which moves were entirely appropriate for each genre, and getting new opinions of what choices were efficient from my peers helped me a ton.  Some of my choices I proposed for my WP3 genres were also kind of vague and dull, and this peer editing helped me realize to choose more specifics to “spice up” my moves that I made for each genre.  I was able to get several opinions on the choices I made, and got a view of what they liked and disliked about my comic book and cover letter.  I was able to change up what they disliked about it if I also agreed with their critiques to make my WP3 a solid assignment.
I am also excited about the portfolio that is due next week.    By re-editing my previous papers, I will be able to utilize the comments made and learn from the mistakes I made on the last paper. There are a lot of improvements I look forward to making.
